ireland garden tour 2021 – overview
Join me on a 10-night private horticultural tour of Dublin and the South West/Mid-West of Ireland. Beginning in Dublin, meander through the beauty and tranquility of some of Ireland’s finest gardens, finishing your tour with a stay in the majesty of Dromoland Castle and surrounding 450 acre estate.
After an overnight stay in Dublin, explore the Irish National Stud and Japanese Gardens before continuing onto the Treaty County of Limerick and Bunratty Castle and Folk Park.
Spend the next day enjoying Knockpatrick Gardens and the scenery of the Shannon Estuary before three nights in County Kerry, known as ‘The Kingdom.’
In County Kerry sample the hospitality and oceanic scenery of the fishing town of Dingle and its harbour, the grandeur of Muckross House and Gardens and the homely rural life of a Kerry Creamery.
Enjoy a traditional jaunting car ride and some of the delightful botany and beauty of Dhu Varren Garden and Kells Bay Gardens.

In the fishing village and food capital Kinsale, enjoy a visit to historic Charles Fort with spectacular views out over the Harbour.
Finish with a return to Limerick where magic is real at Terra Nova Fairy Garden, then go back in time in Ireland’s prettiest village, Adare, before crossing the border into County Clare.
